Machine operative12 hours shifts 6am -6pm And rotates shift pattern 6pm-6am.You are responsible for the number of products produced against target and the accurate recording of all data i.e. good parts, reject parts, weight etc. You are required to put Operator Labels on products or packaging as requested on your Inspection DataSheet. All rejects must be cut up by an authorised bandsaw user and put back through the grinder on the machine. Purgings must be left to cool separately and free from contamination.You are responsible for ensuring that the products you make correspond to the specifications supplied. This will involve the following: Read the Inspection Data Sheet provided at the start of every shift View the first off sample Read any special instructions Report rejects to the Cell Leader/ Shift Technician/ Team Leader if more than 3 per hour Ensure that the correct material and material mixes are being used, see Mixer Board and Inspection Data Sheet Use correct Masterbatches(Only the Cell Leader/ Shift Technician / Team leader must change material mixes.
