  • Creating import/ export documentation for product shipments
  • Liaising with Suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery
  • Sourcing and onboarding new logistics partners to deliver best in class logistics service to customers
  • Arranging transportation for shipments to global destinations from the UK, USA & China
  • Ensuring shipments have correct certificates to meet custom requirements
  • Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure all documentation for import shipments is prepared prior to arrival
  • Working with senior management to shape the logistics strategy and execution of this
  • Developing a small logistics team
Person Specification:
  • Prior experience within a manufacturing and/or distribution company that exports globally
  • Strong administration experience in a logistics environment including import & export knowledge
  • Flexible approach required to support the business in peak times, willingness to learn and adaptable to change
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence working independently as well as in a team
  • Comfortable working towards SLAs to deliver best in class service
