We strive to make our employee community a welcoming, caring andenthusiastic one, fuelling ambition with opportunities and support to help us all achieve our personal and professional goals.You will work as part of a small learning technology team based in The Exchange, taking responsibility for ‘Tech Bar’ support sessions for students and staff, promoting the development of digital skills in one-to-one sessions and workshops. Liaising closelywith cross-college staff and services, you will promote and embed the use of learning technology in all areas of curriculum. To ensure the service is inclusive of all learning needs, part of the role also includes the provision of support for students withaccessibility challenges, using adaptive technologies. Working with the wider college team and suppliers, you will also be responsible for keeping an inventory of all available technology, issuing of items and undertaking any necessary maintenance and updatesof digital resources.With a relevant level 3 computer hardware/software qualification or equivalent experience you must have knowledge of the effective use of a range of ICT and audio visual aids together with experience of the installation of software and trouble-shooting.You will also have experience of training others in the use of ICT and working with learners with disabilities or barriers to learning.
