Job Description

Working for a large, well established and respected employer - were excited to be recruiting for a HR Business Partner to join a growing HR team. The role is incredibly busy, varied and interesting and would suit an experienced HR professional who enjoysa fast paced and dynamic role.Relationship building is key, as is the ability to deliver an efficient and compliant HR service. Youll be working closely with the managerial leadership team, giving advice and guidance to line managers throughout the business. Youll ensure processesand procedures are followed within the framework and are legally compliant. Supporting and mentoring other HR Advisors and HR Administrators, youll be happy to share your knowledge with the wider team. Youll be implementing the business/HR Strategy and will help the business to create a culture and people focused approach. Meaningful relationship building and influencing skills will be key, along with using data and reports to track key metrics and use thisdata to make decisions. Location: Office based - BlackburnSalary: £40,000 plus discretionary bonus Benefits: 30 days holiday including bank holidays, pension, flexible benefits package Key responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing solutions which are aligned to the HR strategy
  • Leading the HR vision, including role modelling, personal and team leadership and actively embedding the HR culture
  • Engaging with operational management teams in order to understand their business requirements, with a focus on improving performance, reducing waste and improving efficiency.
  • Contribue to, and define policies and processes that support the HR strategy and objectives
  • Drive consistency of approach, simplification, and standardisation across the business in attracting, managing and developing talent
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure that tools and policies are aligned, enhance employee engagement and ultimately improve performance.
  • Use data and analytics to measure performance and to identify areas of improvement. Provide expert input across a range of HR issues
  • Design and deliver high impact solutions that meet the needs of the business, and collaborate with the L&D partner to ensure training needs analysis, talent management and succession programmes are in place within the business area
  • Coach and build the capability of senior managers to anticipate and pre-empt organisational issues
  • Participate in relevant projects, leading and championing as appropriate
  • Keep up to date with external trends and best practice in the areas of expertise and HR more broadly
  • Proactively share best practice and intelligence within HR function
  • Build relationships and form alliances to identify opportunities for innovation and drive improvements in the external reputation and presence
  • Understand and anticipate the need for change, diagnose the underlying
  • issues and build the case for change with stakeholders
  • Build frameworks to plan and manage the continuous process of change including dependencies, risk, potential scenarios and options to mitigate
  • Be an ambassador for the function, represent HR internally, and externally
  • implement HR initiatives within the business
Requirements
  • Experience within HR operations for a large organisation
  • Ideally CIPD level 7 (but not essential)
  • Strong casework management
  • Complex casework
  • ACAS / tribunal preparations
  • A strong team player who enjoys continual development
  • Able to research and keep abreast with latest employment legislation
  • Driving license preferable
  • Ideally experience of TUPE, redundancy
