Job Description

  • Assist to deliver projects as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team
  • Undertake technical design work including the production of AutoCAD and Civils 3D drawings for technical approval and construction
  • Assist in preparation of tender packages including drawings, bills of quantities, specifications, and Pre-Construction Health & Safety Plans
  • Assist in project management and technical delivery of projects from inception through to completion of project
  • Provide assistance in producing S278 and S38 legal agreements
  • Assist with Highway responses to Planning Applications
  • Provide technical administrative support including project administration
  • Maintain project records and data using smartsheet
  • Manage and co-ordinate personal workload to achieve project deliverables within the agreed time, quality and financial objectives
  • Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably expected at this level.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experienced user of AutoCAD, and Civil 3D (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of highway design standards (DMRB)
  • Knowledge of NRSWA, TROs and TTROs
  • Understanding of the CDM Regulations
  • Ability to work to tight timescales and budgets
  • Team player
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexible and enthusiastic in approach
  • Ability to progress multiple concurrent schemes in a timely manner to achieve turnaround requirement for the business.
