Exciting Opportunity for a Specialised 1:1 Teaching Assistant at a nurturing Primary School!Are you a compassionate teaching assistant with a wealth of experience in supporting children with severe needs An exceptional opportunity awaits you at a delightful 2-form entry school on the outskirts of Blackburn, where Tradewind is seeking a dedicatedindividual to provide tailored 1:1 support to a child facing challenges related to severe needs.Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Special Educational Needs)Location: Outskirts of BlackburnHours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PMDaily Pay Rates: £78 to £80Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalised support to a child with severe needs
  • Support with language progression and work with dedicated multi- agency professionals
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Some elements of personal care
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in supporting children with additional needs, particularly those with severe needs
  • Adaptability to the unique requirements of a 2-form entry school environment on the outskirts of Blackburn
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks
  • Legal right to work in the UK
