Job Description

A .Net Developer is required for our client based in Blackburn, for an initial 12 month fixed term contract.Successful candidates must have experience with –

  • .Net development
  • C#
  • Azure
  • SQL Server
  • Front end web development skills including JavaScript
  • Agile working
    • The client is ideally looking for a .Net Developer with the following skills and experience -
  • Proficiency in C#.Net and good knowledge of MVC
  • Web Server Technologies IIS/Apache/Nginx
  • A strong skill set in SQL Server database development and Entity Framework
  • Front end web development skills including JavaScript, JQuery and React/Vue/Angular
  • Development IDEs VScode/Visual Studio/Atom
  • Command line interfaces – Windows/Linux
  • Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
  • Writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-end
  • HTTP & REST
  • NPM/GIT/GitHub
  • knowledge of DevOps tools
  • knowledge of Data formats JSon/XML/CSV
  • .Net Core, Azure and Agile working
  • CMS (WordPress, Magento, Joomla etc)
  • PHP/MySQL/PHPMyAdmin/Node.js
  • Developing and managing well-functioning databases and applications
  • Writing effective RESTful APIs
  • Can demonstrate good understanding of current technology stacks
  • Implementing web applications in cloud environment, contribution and exposure to dev-ops and automation
  • Unit and functional test automation and delivery.
  • Knowledge and experience of all stages of software development in highly agile working environment.

  • Keen attitude to learn and develop
    • Excellent verbal and written English skills
