Job Description

We are currently looking for part timeCustomer Service Administrators to join our team inBlackburnon a permanentbasis. With varying work patterns available, we are interested to know your availability. All work patterns will involve regular weekend working and in return, you will receive a salary of £19,998 - £21,040 per annum, prorated to reflect your contracted hours, plus excellent benefitsGraham & Brown has had design and colour at the heart of our business for over 75 years. As our Customer Service Administrator, you willgive first class customer service, always putting the customer at the heart of our business.Your key responsibilities as our Customer Service Administrator will include:
  • Providing telephone and email assistance via a helpdesk ticket system & managing live chat, working within agreed service levels timescales
  • Performing administrative duties throughout the department
  • Expediting urgent customer orders
  • Investigating and resolving customer complaints and seeing them through to a satisfied conclusion
  • Providing excellent customer service in day to day contact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
  • Working closely with the Customer Service team, sharing information and always learning. Strong relationships also essential with our Logistics Admin and Returns Team, Ecommerce, UK Sales Admin and Digital Design
  • Working with our third party payment /logistics who handle all of our European orders
What we are looking for in our Customer Service Administrator:
  • Customer focussed
  • Previous experience of working in a busy Customer Service Department
  • The ability to handle complaints by telephone, letter and email
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Strong demonstrable communication skills, both written and verbally
  • An ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Good IT skills, with the ability to work comfortably within Microsoft Word, Excel and bespoke systems
  • A well organised individual who has the ability to work on own initiative
  • A great problem solver
  • Previous experience on Zendesk or similar platforms, though not essential, would be advantageous
  • Knowledge or past experience working in a similar industry
