Job Description

Secondary School Cover Supervisor.Are you passionate about education and making a positive impact on young minds Were seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Blackburn.Position: Cover SupervisorLocation: BlackburnPay Rate: £85 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)Availability: Part-time and Full-time rolesKey Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or working with children is highly desirable.
  • Right to Work: Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
  • References: Ability to provide valid reference details from previous work experiences.
  • DBS Check: Preferably already possessing a DBS on the update service.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Cover for Teachers: Step into the role of teachers during their absence, ensuring a smooth continuation of the learning process.
  • Lesson Implementation: Effectively implement provided work and lesson plans, maintaining the educational momentum in the classroom.
  • Student Support: Provide support to students where necessary, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Initiative and Collaboration: Showcase initiative and the ability to work independently, while also collaborating seamlessly with other staff members.
  • Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders, contributing to a harmonious and supportive school community.
