Job Description

Body Shop Painter - BlackburnCompetitive Salary DOEOur client provides vehicles and vans for everyone. With a range of different vehicle specifications and packages available they are able to find the perfect car for any customer.Due to massive company success and expansion they are recruiting for an additional team member to join their State-of-the-Art Body Shop to work a new shift pattern.With sales increasing, they are currently selling over 550 vehicles per month and foresee this continuing to increase. In order to facilitate this, they are implementing an additional shift in the Body Shop which is likely to be 3.00pm-11.30pm 4 days a week.They are now looking for a Body Shop Painter and require applicants with previous experience.They specialise in used cars meaning their Body Shop Team conduct cosmetic repairs and ensure all vehicles are in line with their standards.Their Body Shop is the first in the UK to have installed the complete Symac production line and this provides an amazing and exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to be part of as well as working in the first state of the art body shop.Scope for development is available within this role and is rewarded with a strong annual salary and overtime.Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all used vehicles are refinished to a high standard before being delivered to the customer
  • Work in line with BVRLA approved fair wear and tear guidelines
  • To be able to carry out smart repairs (preferable)
  • To be fully conversant with water based refinishing systems

  • Previous experience in Body shop repairs
  • Relevant qualification in Body shop paint procedures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Full and valid UK driving licence
