We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join a large format food store where you can develop your skills and use your experience to be fast tracked to be a Store Manager. This client is expanding, opening new stores and looking to continuegrowing all the time. As an Assistant Store Manager you will be able to motivate and inspire your teams, ensure the store looks great and has high availability of stock and product.Experience of working in a fast-paced retail environment is essential, having big box or food retail or convenience retail or a supermarket background would be an advantage. We are open to speaking to candidates who want to reach the next level in theircareer and will consider applications from Department Managers, Assistant Managers or Deputy Managers or want to develop to become a Store Manager.To be our clients new Assistant Manager, you will be a hands-on, shop floor based, commercial and a result driven retail manager who has a passion for coaching and developing teams, combined with a passion for delivering world class customer service!You will need your own transport to travel to our clients stores, in addition we want a proven Assistant Store Manager who can support other stores across the area when required so a flexible approach is a must.As an Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include the following:
