Job Description

We are working exclusively on this fantastic Accounts Semi Senior role working within an Accountancy firm in Blackburn. The opportunity to progress within the firm is on offer for the right candidate; study support and career development.The purpose of the Accounts Semi Senior role within our clients thriving Accountancy Firm is to prepare accounts for Sole Traders, Private Partnerships and Limited Companies. The role includes:

  • Bookkeeping and supporting with Management Accounts
  • VAT Returns
  • Resolving queries from clients relating to their accounts.
  • Purchase Ledger, matching, batching and coding supplier invoices
  • Sales Ledger - posting of sales ledger invoices
  • Bank and Statement reconciliations
  • Updating cashbooks
  • Petty cash reconciliation
  • Preparation of accounts to Trial Balance and month end close
  • Use of Sage Line 50 and a cloud accounting package preferable
The ideal candidate for this Accounts Semi Senior role will have gained some experience of working within an Accountancy Practice, be an excellent communicator and be comfortable effectively liaising with clients.AAT / Part Qualified Accountant / Studier / Stopped Studier / QBE in practice.This is a great role within a successful and growing accountancy firm.
