Job Opportunity: Accounts & Audit AdvisorLocation: BlackburnCompany Overview: MERJE is pleased to represent a leading accountancy firm based in Blackburn. Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts & Audit Advisor to join their team.Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Accounts & Audit Advisor with expertise in UK Financial Reporting Standards, ISAs, and tax matters. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and contribute to the firmssuccess.Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing financial statements and tax computations.
  • Preparation of management accounts and statutory financial statements.
  • Completing corporation tax computations and VAT returns.
  • Planning, managing, and completing audit files.
  • Supporting ad hoc projects and business development initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • ACCA/ACA qualified or part-qualified.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an accountancy firm.
