Our client is looking to hire a 2nd Line Support Engineer - Electrical Manufacturing, to support team growth for their offices based in Blackburn. This role is excellent for an IT professional focussed on delivering high quality customer service.Client DetailsOur client is looking to hire a 2nd Line Support Engineer - Electrical Manufacturing, to support team growth for their offices based in Blackburn. This role is excellent for an IT professional focussed on delivering high quality customer service.DescriptionWorking with the IT Support team and reporting to the IT Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Logging Tickets on the ticketing system
  • Working on ticket Inc. initial contact, 1st line investigation and resolution of issue
  • Escalation of tickets to 3rd line
  • Monitoring of shared support box, Inc. Replying, logging, general housekeeping
  • Passing tickets to Software/Hardware where required
  • Software Testing/Bug Identification
  • General IT maintenance 1st and 2nd line
  • Updating/maintaining IT incident reports
  • Working to Cyber Security standards
ProfileThe 2nd Line Support Engineer - Electrical Manufacturing will have:IT Skills Required:
  • Windows, Active directory, Office365 administration, Debian based Linux, Networking, Basic knowledge of SQL, Android setup and support, Hardware setup and support
  • Microsoft 365, VNC, RDP, TeamViewer, Splashtop, FTP, SFTP, SSH. SQL, Firebird & Flamerobin
Soft Skills:

Job OfferThe successful 2nd Line Support Engineer - Electrical Manufacturing will have access to training and development opportunities, salary paying £20,000-£22,000 plus benefits working in the electronics manufacturing sector including:
