Job Description

MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Birtley area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position.The Role:

  • Attending start of shift briefings to receive targets for the day
  • Working on a fast-paced production line
  • Overviewing of press machines
  • Loading and unloading of products onto machinery
  • Packing of products prior to despatch
  • Visual quality inspection of own work upon completion
  • General Housekeeping throughout the shift
  • Any other reasonable tasks given by Team Leader or manager(s)
  • Involvement in 5S & Continuous Improvement initiatives
The Person:
  • The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • The ability to use inspection equipment to self verify own work
  • Must have excellent timekeeping and attendance records

  • Monday - Friday 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 / 22:00 - 06:00
The Pay:
  • £10.39 per hour
  • Saturday OT - £15.59
  • Sunday OT - £20.78
