Working Supervisor (Joinery Background) with SSSTS or SMSTSAre you an experienced Joinery professional looking for a supervisory role We have an exciting opportunity for a Working Supervisor with a Joinery background to join our team for a 6-week project in Birmingham. If you have strong leadership skills, excellenttechnical knowledge, and hold a SSSTS or SMSTS certification, we want to hear from you!Position: Working Supervisor (Joinery Background)Location: BirminghamDuration: 6-week projectResponsibilities:* Lead and supervise a team of joiners in the installation of 60 firedoors.* Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.* Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure smooth project progress.* Provide guidance and support to the team, resolving any technical issues or challenges that arise.* Monitor work progress, track productivity, and make adjustments as required to meet project deadlines.* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and quality requirements.* Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any relevant documentation.* Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure clear understanding of project objectives.Requirements:* CSCS NVQ2 or above in Joinery, with a strong background in installation projects.* Demonstrable experience in a supervisory role, leading and managing a team.* Solid knowledge of joinery techniques, including firedoor installation.* Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certification.* Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.* Strong organizational and time management skills.* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.* Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make decisions under pressure.* Valid Right to Work in UK.If you believe you have the skills and experience required for this role, please submit your CV and one of our consultants will contact suitable applicants.We value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
