All supported by a massive local programme of bus rapid transit, highway improvements, bike hire, new metro lines and new local rail stations. You do not have to be a transport expert to join us, but you do need to have an innovative and can-do mind set and be determined to explore new possibilities.We are seeking new colleagues to join our dynamic, growing and highly agile team in our Policy, Strategy and Innovation Department of Transport for West Midlands. We have six newly established full time and permanent posts:Who we needAs a senior GIS developer, you will work within our Data Insight team to apply your experience in geospatial data management technologies like PostGIS and proprietary solutions utilising the ESRI technology stack. Working with our cloud hosted AWS solutions you will be at the cutting edge of technology. You will develop web and mobile applications, provide professional services to our client base and you will engage customers with your interactive visualisations.
