Avanti Recruitment is partnering with a global software solutions company specialising in marine assurance and is looking for a Web Designer/Developer to join their team.The company specialises in designing and delivering customisable cutting-edge solutions for the marine shipping sector allowing its clients to ensure the safety of vessels and increase environmental protection.The role would be 50% design and 50% development. You will be working closely with their in-house Senior UX expert and some of the exciting projects you will be part of is the full re-design and built of their main customer-facing application and later onin the year a re-vamp of their responsive mobile application as well. Youll be joining a very open-minded and collaborative team, with a relaxed take and always appreciate good ideas and happy to work with you on getting there.In this role you will have the freedom to choose the tools of your choice but would be willing to learn some JavaScript and later on if you wish can further upskill in Vue.js, Bootstrap and more.You will be able to work remotely with a twice-a-week visit to their Birmingham-based office.Key Skills:- UX/UI Design- Figma/Photoshop/AdobeSuite- Portfolio/GitHub/Live examples of work- Demonstratable HTML/ CSS experience- 1 years commercial experience or relevant DegreeDesirable:- JavaScript- Material DesignThey offer a salary of up £30,000 depending on experience + 30 days holiday(inc bank), private healthcare, pension contribution.
