Job Description

My client is a social media agency with a difference - they are a publisher too. They create, produce and distribute shockingly good video content through our social media communities. Their foundations are in connecting the construction industry.   • Pre-Production: Ensure the following is carried out by your team - input to creative meetings, script writing/editing, shooting preparation including sourcing locations, actors, etc. Also includes story boarding, risk assessments, sourcing of equipment (all recorded within the budget). You will be responsible for the completion of these tasks by your team.
  • Production: Director/Producer responsibilities including distributing crew roles, dealing with actors and contributors, paying close attention to editorial details, budgets, suitable working hours and breaks for the team and delivering engaging content created as planned.
  • Post-production: Making sure the edit process is completed accurately and to schedule.
  • Specific Skills and Responsibilities
  • General video production skills incorporating an understanding of creating video content for social media channels. Skill in narrative film-making and corporate video.
  • Sourcing and producing/directing actors and talent.
  • The management of team members. Each Producer has a Videographer and Production Assistant within their teams. Please treat your team with empathy and respect.
  • Project Management. The ability to assume the daily responsibilities for several video projects from pre-production, production and post-production including the delegation of tasks, oversight of team members, accurate budget reporting and feedback.
  • Sharing knowledge through ongoing training and support to both their team and the wider business when applicable.
  • Ability to report any problems or issues quietly and confidentially. Discretion is required.
  • Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Working within the wider team to improve practices and complete video projects quickly and efficiently.
  • A complete Team Player. My client is all about the team.
