Kandola Logistics Synergy Limited are looking for van drivers to join us to support our growing customer demands, delivering goods across the United Kingdom. As the company grows we are looking to expand our reach.We deliver nationwide seven days a week; 365 days a year and are based in the West Midlands.Role and ResponsibilitiesKandola Logistics Synergy Limited are looking for drivers who are reliable, punctual and have good communication skills. The role requires evening driving with multi-stop deliveries therefore the right candidate must have experience with countryside roads at night.On arrival at pick-up and delivery sites the driver must take signatures, fill out forms and inform the operations team of their arrival and departure times.In addition, you will be required to hand ball the goods but they are light. The average shift length is 12 hours a day.Our van drivers usually perform many of the following tasks:· Planning routes· Loading and offloading goods· Keeping records of deliveries· Obtaining signed receipts from goods’ delivered· Flexible and reliable working approachRequirements This job requires:· A driving license held for a minimum one years with no more than 3 points and have not been charged with any serious motoring offenses.· Minimum 30 years of age.· Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.· A DBS check to be carried out· To have their own SATNAV· Proven, previous van driving experience is essential, for a minimum six months· Fluent in English· Smart dress code (branded clothing will be provided once the right candidate passes their probation period)· Hard working team player· Punctual· Excellent driving skills with experience of driving in countryside roads in the night is essential· Reliable and trustworthy· Good concentration· Have knowledge about routes and geography· Able to work under pressure· Have awareness of safety procedures for loading and unloading goods.Preferred Skills · Experience with multi-drop deliveriesEducation No specific qualifications required.
