Job Description

UX/UI designerA UX/UI designer is being sought out by a leading proptech company who are keen to be a brand-aware designer to join the expanding team.This is a fantastic opportunity for a UX/UI designer to take ownership over the projects they work on and rapidly progress into management positions.As a UX/UI designer, you will be working collaboratively to plan, wireframe, and design a wide array of applications whilst liaising with other team members for other departments i.e developers, business analysts, and Project managers to bring projects tocompletion.The successful UX/UI designer will have :

  • 3+ years experience working in a related user-focused environment
  • Experience gathering business and user requirements and translating these into workflows, wireframes, and sitemaps
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
  • Exceptional ability to fluently communicate with stakeholders and teams around the business, both inside and outside of the UX field
  • Proven track record of balancing practical user-friendly functionality with creative/brand vision
  • Must be comfortable and have experience in delivering fast and iterating (must understand the balance of "good enough" vs "perfection")
  • Ability to work well under pressure with stretching deadlines
  • Strong analytical mindset, proactive approach, self-confident, flexible, and highly motivated
Technical Skills
  • Wireframing
  • Interactive functional prototyping
  • Typical UX tools (Adobe XD)
  • Journey maps/user flows/user personas
  • Experience rapidly designing for A/B and multi-variant testing
  • Good understanding of HTML/CSS (to avoid designing for the impossible)
  • Experience with user testing and research sessions is an advantage (prior experience conducting UX research workshops a benefit)
