Job Description

Our client is looking for a highly motivated Ultrasound Applications Specialist to join their team across the Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sonographer looking to move into the commercial sector, or an Applications Specialistlooking to take their career to a new level.The company FMC continues to support leaders in the medical imaging space. This globally recognised brand is renowned for supplying state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, PACS/RIS, and diagnostic instruments. They pride themselves on pushing boundaries with the latesttechnological advancements and are passionate about finding people dedicated to evolving solutions that provide the very best patient care.The roleAs an Ultrasound Applications Specialist, youll play a crucial role in supporting the sales team to provide clinical and technical support for our clients customers. Youll learn the technical and methodological requirements of the Ultrasound portfolio anduse your expertise to provide product demonstrations at customer sites, hospitals, and conferences. Your specialist support will ensure all equipment is demonstrated to its best advantage.Other responsibilities include:

  • Managing all post-sales customer product and applications training
  • Liaising with the Sales & Product Manager to ensure that the latest information is available for users, including attending international meetings
  • Managing the customer feedback loop at all stages of the sales process
  • Supplying feedback to the management teams
  • Identifying and documenting all key influencers within your accounts
  • Providing support at courses delivered by key accounts/customers
  • Regularly visiting customer sites to ensure satisfaction
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of local marketing strategies
  • Creating supporting documentation for products including formal applications reports
The requirements Youll have experience as a Sonographer, as well as
  • Degree Educated in a relevant discipline
  • Experience working within the commercial sector is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and able to credibly engage with customers
  • Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team
  • High organised and able to prioritise effectively
  • A full UK driving licence and willing to travel across the territory
  • Fast learner who is positive, driven, and keen to progress
