Job Description

Trainee Water Hygiene TechnicianBirmingham£20,000-£24,000 + Benefits (Depending on Experience)Our client are specialists operating in the building services sector. They provide solutions for statutory Health and Safety compliance issues, such as the control and prevention of Legionnaires disease. They now require a trainee water hygiene technicianto cover their Midlands sites.This is a brilliant chance for an individual with the right attitude and values to start a rewarding career, within a company that invests into their employees and pride themselves on their great training and career progression opportunitys.Duties of a Trainee Water Hygiene Technician:

  • Complete job sheets and logbooks
  • Taking water samples and temperature checks
  • Tank inspections, cleaning, and disinfections
  • Showerhead de scaling and disinfection
  • To represent the company in a professional manor
Responsibilities of a Trainee Water Hygiene Technician:
  • A full UK driving license is essential
  • You must be trustworthy and reliable
  • A passion for a career within the industry is essential
  • You must be physically fit and eager to learn
  • You will be ready to get hand on and have experience using practical skills
You will benefit from having:
  • Experience in a field-based role
  • Plumbing qualifications or experience
  • Knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG274
  • Confined spaces certificate
  • Current CSCS card
