Job Description

Involve RecruitmentInvolve specialises in delivering excellence in the recruitment of construction, mechanical engineering, trades and labour, commercial and finance personnel across the UK.Based upon the core principles of service delivery, reliability and excellence, our staff ensure that we only supply the best possible match when it comes to the requirement of temporary, contract and permanent staff. Over the last 4 years we have experienced rapid growth and opened Involve Midlands in March 2019. A second office in Hagley Road Birmingham has recently opened to house our Construction division. Due to this recent growth, we have a new opportunity for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join the team in BirminghamThe role will be to support the rapidly growing Mechanical and Electrical division. You will be fully supported by senior team members to assist in the business’s growth plans and receive ongoing training and development in the roleThe duties of the Trainee Recruitment Consultant will include:

  • Resourcing candidates for current and upcoming projects within the mechanical and electrical sector, to include Plumbers, pipefitters, Electricians and Improvers
  • Utilising a variety of mediums to generate a constant flow of candidates to the business such as job boards, company database, social media and telephone screening
  • Sending application forms, adding these to the system when they return them
  • Writing job adverts
  • Referencing workers, checking qualifications, adding documents to the system to ensure workers are fully compliant
  • Generating leads for the business through candidate management and understanding the M & E labour sector including competitor awareness
  • All related administration tasks as required
    • The ideal candidate will have gained some experience within a recruitment agency and understand the fast-paced nature of a temporary recruitment desk.
