With this in mind, we are looking for a Trainee Health & Safety Advisor to join our team.Reporting to our Health & Safety Manager, this site-based role will work closely with our Production and Management teams to continuously improve our organisational safety performance and the promotion of a positive health and safety culture.On a daily basis you will support the Health & Safety Manager in monitoring and improving the safety, health, and environmental performance of a variety of sites, as well as the monitoring of training within your areas of responsibility. Previous experiencein the construction industry would be beneficial but not essential.After successfully completing a qualification with us, we expect you to move into a Health & Safety Advisor role after 2 years, with further opportunities to progress into a Regional Health & Safety Advisor role, when one becomes available.This position can be based in Birmingham or Gloucester with regional travel and regular visits to our Gloucester head office. Working hours are based on a 39-hour week, typically 8.00am5.00pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.00am4.00pm on Fridays, with an hourfor lunch.A bit more about usWere one of the biggest electrical contractors in the UK.
