Job Description

Are you a Sales Administrator searching for that next step up If you are, our client has an opening for a Trainee Account Manager to join them.The company is renowned for providing high-quality, high-volume print-solutions for a range of customers they always go above and beyond to deliver a first-class service – so you can see that you’ll be joining a company with a good reputation! Providingdirect support to the Sales and Account Management team, you’ll have the support of a knowledgable and experienced team and will enjoy some great benefits that include a salary between £23,000 and £25,000, a discretionary annual bonus, Life Insurance, and plenty of training and development opportunities.There will be a lot of learning in this role and you’ll be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining client relationships with existing and new clients
  • With the support of the Sales Manager, successfully take ownership of accounts and manage all daily tasks associated with the account
  • Arrange and attend meetings with clients, ensuring youre armed with all information necessary
  • Seek out opportunities to increase revenue with existing clients
  • Have a good understanding of client requirements, enabling you to produce accurate job estimates
  • Work in collaboration with internal departments to ensure projects will be completed as agreed with clients
  • Maintain stock levels, be involved in purchasing
  • Take responsibility for all administration, this includes producing invoices and reconciling invoices and postage costs
As a Trainee, our client doesn’t expect that you’ll have 20 years’ experience but the role would suit a Sales Administrator who is keen to progress and take the step to Account Manager. Good administration skills are a must, and it’s imperative that you have the softer skills too – so you’ll need to be a good communicator, confident, and able to build rapport.
