Job Description

A small friendly company which has been established for over 40 years make high quality products is looking for an experienced Toolmaker to join its team. The company has ambitious plans as having even during this pandemic invested in new extensions to itsfactory and warehouse and installing new processes and equipment for exciting new line of products.As a Toolmaker you will:

  • Be very much part of the management of the company and be included in the decision making on investment being considered in new technologies such as rapid prototyping and advanced composite materials.
  • Produce tooling for new designs as well as maintain existing tooling jigs and fixtures.
  • Use machines including metal spinning and presswork both mechanical and hydraulic presses.
The successful Toolmaker will have the following skills and experience:
  • Have the ability to produce tooling for the operation by using manual machines such as turning, milling etc.
  • Have skills and knowledge to programme and operate 3 axis Vertical Milling machines and also Charmilles wire eroder.
  • Experience in deep drawn presswork would be highly considered.
  • This role will suit an experienced toolmaker, cnc machinist.
