Job Description

We are working with a fantastic client who specialise in delivering homes, services and innovation for some of the most disadvantaged communities in the Midlands and providing support to vulnerable adults.This client is a registered care and support charity, providing services to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness across all age groups across the country. They provide the very best service, and they would love your help in continuing that process.Tenancy Sustainment Officer6-Month FTC maternity cover, with a view to going fully permanent£27,582.63 pro rata + car allowanceThe Tenancy Sustainment Officer will empower and support residents/customers to sustain their accommodation, adopting a trauma informed approach to engage in positive partnership work with individuals to manage any safeguarding concerns, fulfil the conditionsof their occupancy agreements and have a positive impact within their home and community. The successful candidate will need confidence to act as a navigator, liaising with other professionals and services to make appropriate referrals for additional supportand will take a lead role in coordinating multi-agency meetings with internal and external stakeholders, holding others to account where actions and outcomes are agreed.To empower and support residents to not only meeting their tenancy obligations but also in fulfilling their personal aims, aspirations and preventing tenancy failures. The aim of this service is to ensure all residents live successfully in their homes for aslong as they choose to, meeting all tenancy obligations and avoiding any tenancy breaches or adverse tenancy ends.The most important quality about you must be your empathy and your desire to help those in need.
