Job Description

Role: Telecoms Helpdesk EngineerLocation: BirminghamSalary: £33K DOE + Company CarOne of my best clients is looking to add a Telecoms Support Desk Engineer to an already thriving team based in Birmingham on a full-time basis. The successful applicant must have experience working on a support desk and have knowledge of PBX, VoIP, CloudVoice, connectivity, and networking.Benefits:** 28 Days Holiday** Company Car** Company Bonus ** Fantastic Progession OpertunitysRole Responsibilities:** Supporting clients on a variety of Hosted & Fixed telephone systems throughout the UK.** Daily interaction with customers, so excellent communication skills and a professional approach are vital.** Enhance customers experience by always exceeding their expectations and by fulfilling our best practices.** Ability to use initiative to problem solve in a calm and logical way.** Ability to carry out initial diagnostics for resolution on a network or Telephony scenario.** Ambition to evaluate a customer scenario/ problem and provide a resolution or escalate to 3rd line support.** Great customer service skills.** Knowledge & experience programming telephone systems.** Hosted VoIP and SIP telephony understanding.** Knowledge of Mobile applications and PC/Server software installation.** Knowledge of IP networks.** Previous experience remotely supporting and programming for clients using remote access utilities.Skills:** Gamma Horizon** Splicecom** Panasonic** NEC** MitelThis opportunity is a fantastic way to get on board with an award-winning telecoms company.
