Job Description

Role Introduction Our payroll solution, Flexipay, is going through a significant technical transformation to become the number one payroll solution on the market.We already have a great team in place working towards this goal but are looking for a Team Lead to guide, mentor and support the software development process. From simple bug fixes to critical technical architecture decisions, to carry out line managementresponsibilities while also working with stakeholders both internally and externally to Advanced - as a Team Lead you will be truly instrumental in the success of the team.We are looking for curious and engaged people who always want to learn and develop.   • Lead a software development team of 10+ developers and testers, geographically dispersed across both UK and India.
  • Carry out line management responsibilities for UK staff.
  • Work closely with Head of Engineering, Product Owner, Product Manager and other Team Leads.
  • Define and design appropriate technical solutions for the product requirements.
  • Ensure reusable, maintainable, high-quality code across the code base.
  • Maintain quality and ensure the security and performance of application.
  • Provide technical leadership to senior engineering team and key stakeholders, updating them on improvements and potential complications.
  • Identify and keep abreast of emerging technology.
  • Help and assist other departments requiring assistance.
What You Will Have

  • Broad experience developing solutions in .NET Core, as well as with interoperability in a polyglot environment.
  • High proficiency in the following development technologies: C#, .NET Core, SQL, and Microsoft Azure. Significant experience in web development technology, in particular Vue.js, HTML5, and CSS3. Knowledge of Delphi and yaml is an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud hosting technologies.
  • Experience in using CI/CD tools, e.g. Azure DevOps, git, Azure pipelines.
  • Experience in using agile software development tools, e.g. Jira or DevOps.
  • An open, curious mind.
