Job Description

Technical Sales AdvisorAldridge Security have an exciting position available for a full-time Technical Sales Advisor based in Birmingham. The successful candidate will earn £19,500-£22,500 depending on experience, plus benefits.This role is a permanent Monday-Friday position with working hours between 8am5pm (40-hour week).Role Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge of being in a Technical Sales advisory role within the Locks & Ironmongery sector would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given.
  • You will also be expected to demonstrate excellent customer service skills as well as perform your duties in a polite and professional manner at all times.
  • You must be customer-focused and computer literate.
Role Responsibilities
  • Answering telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Assisting and advising customers with solutions on technical queries.
  • Facilitating sales transactions by advising customers on suitable products that best meet their needs and encouraging purchases.
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of technical products to provide suitable recommendations to customers as needed.
  • Processing orders accurately and keeping customers up to date with the progress of their order.
  • Maximising all potential sales opportunities, generating sales revenue and gross profit as per agreed targets and time scales.
  • Utilising the CRM system as a tool to work out daily priorities, log and track all contacts, companies & customer orders at every stage of the sales process with prospects and clients.
  • Building, growing and maintaining both product and industry awareness.
