Job Description

Technical Quality CoordinatorUp to 28kBirmingham, B18A dynamic and innovative engineering company that specialises in precision parts are currently seeking a talented Technical Quality Coordinator to join our team. If you have a strong background in engineering, excellent ability to understand and interpret technicaldrawings and costs whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality, we want to hear from you!As a Technical Quality Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the technical and quality aspects of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate understanding and compliance with project requirements.
  • Generate accurate quotes based on customer specifications, ensuring competitive pricing while meeting quality standards.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate effective communication and project coordination.
  • Applying your engineering expertise to assess project feasibility, troubleshoot technical issues, and recommend improvements in product design or manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in fastener selection, usage, and quality control, as well as ensuring fasteners meet industry standards and client requirements.
To succeed in this Technical Quality Coordinator role, you will need the following qualifications:
  • Degree or time served in engineering or a related field.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Experience in generating quotes from customer specifications.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
  • In-depth engineering knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with fastener selection, usage, and quality control.
  • Knowledge of SAP/ERP system
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
