Job Description

We believe in Big Lean Thinking - which manifests itself in an approach of ruthless creative efficiency worldwide.The Role:We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to successfully manage a large technical project on DX (JLR websites), working closely with our Client Partner, third parties and a wide range of internal teams.The work is largely technology build and implementation and therefore you must have a strong background in delivering technical solutions. You must have experience of Digital Strategy, UX, Design, Technical Builds including Third Party APIs, SEO, Analytics and of deploying on to global website platforms.Responsibilities:

  • Management of high-profile digital projects (with a focus on technical solutions and overseeing delivery)
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with key stakeholders including Client Partner
  • Ability to articulate risks and manage expectations accordingly
  • Ensure the Client Partner understands agreed workflows and manage them through the delivery process - showing flexibility where tenable and constructively challenging out of scope requests, providing practical advice to achieve a solution
  • Responsible for managing deliverables for global digital content across multiple projects at a time.
  • Ensure agency compliance with client policies
  • Adjust timing plans adapting to both process growth and project specifics (in-flight and templated)
  • Track and report on project status
  • Risk assessment of projects and collating work effort for any out of scope projects
  • Balancing internal stakeholder inputs against the scope
  • Prioritise tasks for other teams based on project delivery
  • Ensure all relevant internal resources and meetings have been organised in a timely manner
  • Be the first point of contact for assessing project inputs or delays
  • Collaborate with other teams and establish continuous improvement initiatives
  • Understand the impact of client decisions and be able to advise as required
  • Envisage potential risks within a project and advise on ways to mitigate these
  • Build collaborative and trusting relationships with third party suppliers as part of a wider team
  • Working closely with Senior Account Manager and the Technical Business Analyst to deliver against agreed Client / Agency strategies, proposals and briefs
  • Co-ordinate and ensure alignment with counterparts in London office
  • Adherence to clear, accurate documentation, following agreed delivery processes
  • Demonstrate a clear working knowledge of the agreed Scope of Work (SOW) and the status of projects
  • Financial management: tracking budgets and managing financial processes where and when required
  • Clear understanding and implementation of the approval systems
  • Take ownership for the smooth running of the deliverables and ensure that we are one-step ahead of our clients
  • Requirements:
  • Experienced Project handler with proven ability to prioritise work and resources across engagements based on short and long-term needs
  • Strong awareness and interest in new platforms and technologies for the digital channels
  • Automotive experience strongly preferred, especially luxury automotive but not mandatory for the right candidate
  • Experience of configurators, in addition to websites, ideal but not essential
  • Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities at all levels of both internal and client organisations
  • Ability to handle, manage and communicate complex work and interdependencies
  • Well versed in communicating risk management and mitigation measures
  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working closely with project, operations, technical and delivery teams
  • A natural team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
