Job Description

Robert Walters is working in partnership with a global transformation business, with revenue in excess of three-billion GBP. They are recognised as true industry leaders in providing digital services to an extensive list of customers across multiple industries.Due to continued acquisition and growth, they are expanding their Information Security teams and are keen to appoint an experienced Technical Information Security Manager, paying a salary range of £50,000 to £60,000 plus car allowance.This role is indefinitely home based.As an experienced Technical Information Security Manager, you will act a technical security lead. You will oversee IT Health Checks remediations working with internal support and development teams. In addition, you will work with teams to help improve productsecurity whilst meeting customer requirements.Technical Information Security Manager: Duties

  • Analyse/Propose mitigations for IT Health Check reports
  • Liaise with technical POCs for testing
  • Lead security activities to ensure action points are met with stakeholders
  • Work with Development/Engineering functions to establish mitigation for the products
  • Act as a technical SME
  • Provide technical security support across business unit
  • Develop security requirements to plug into DevSecOps
  • Write Security Management Plans
  • Create Risk Assessment and Management plans
Technical Information Security Manager: Experience
  • Create documentation for stakeholders
  • Technical knowledge of IT Health Check mitigation
  • Security knowledge across Networks, Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of risks, threats, vulnerabilities
  • Risk assessment / management documentation
  • OWASP / NCSC industry knowledge
  • Security accreditation - COCo
  • Develop risk reports for senior management
Desirable certifications in either: CISSP, CISM, CSTAR, CCSP, ISSAP, CEHDesirable areas of experience:
  • Cloud, Azure - security best practises
  • ISO 27001 certifications, external audits
The permanent opportunity for a Technical Information Security Manager will pay a salary range of £50,000 to £60,000 plus car allowance.
