Job Description

Technical Delivery ManagerBirmingham£65,000 - £70,000 + Bonus & benefitsThe CompanyWorking at the heart of digital transformation a role is available for aTechnical Delivery Lead to develop outward facing technology solutions and further increase the firms innovation offeringThis global Legal Professional Services group, operating withinthe UK, Europe, US and Asia, has a reputation for delivering outstanding services and innovative product solutions. The business has established a track record for driving excellence and this team focusses on improving client service delivery.Key Responsibilities of the Technical Delivery Lead

  • Managing the technical delivery across Projects and initiatives within the legal technology solutions team
  • Liaising with internal technology, delivery & operations Teams (i.e. Solution Architects, Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Service Desk, etc)
  • Contributing and presenting at the Architecture Review Board as needed
  • Liaising with internal Business Stakeholders to understand their goals
  • Working with our Offshore Development Team
  • Working with Suppliers to progress any technical deliverables/changes and make sure roadmaps are communicated the teams involved.
  • Supporting platform upgrades and other maintenance activities, whilst ensuring good change management is followed
  • Taking ownership for reviewing, triaging and resolving any issues that are escalated from the Support and Business Teams
  • Ensuring solutions are delivered with cyber security and risk in mind
  • Helping to define and promote good practice with regards to technical delivery
  • Building excellent relationships, working collaboratively to understand stakeholder requirements and challenges
Skills & Attributes of the Technical Delivery Lead
  • SDLC - Service Delivery Life Cycle
  • Tech skills include .NET, SQL Server, relationship database modelling including the understanding and design, HTML5, APIs.
  • Must have Azure experience including but not limited to PaaS and SaaS architecture models, end-points, API, security and architecture design and be able to explain and document designs
  • Performant, secure, scalable and robust architectural design (high and low level)
  • low-code, no-code platforms
  • Good understanding of the Power Platform architecture and design, including Power Virtual Agents, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
  • Azure Logic Apps
  • Internal, Client and Public facing API consumption (REST and SOAP)
  • CI/CD
  • Source code management
  • Problem solving
  • Priority management
  • Agile methodologies
  • Effective communication across a range of stakeholders
  • Experience in legal or professional services
  • Enthusiastic and self-aware, adapting style to suit the situation
  • Displays high standards of professional and personal conduct
  • Comfortable pushing back/suggesting area of improvement
  • Takes responsibility for problems and uses initiative to resolve sufficiently
