Role: Technical Architect | Palo-Alto Prisma & SASE | Security Location: Remote with occasional travel to Birmingham Duration: 3 Months FTC Salary: £80,000 Pro rata An exciting opportunity has arisen with a Digital Software company based in Birmingham. We are currently recruiting for a Security Technical Architect who has a strong security design architect background and proven knowledge with Palo Alto Prisma. You willbe Designing and implementing Palo Alto SASE solutions and will be a subject matter expert in this field. The Role: - Designing and implementing Palo Alto SASE solutions that meet the organizations requirements for security, performance, and availability. - Assessing and evaluating new SASE technologies, products, and vendors and making recommendations for adoption. - Collaborating with Customer IT teams, such as the security and network teams, to ensure that the SASE solutions meet the organizations security and network requirements. - Participating in network architecture design and roadmaps for HP Aruba SD-WAN/LAB/WLAN with ClearPass solutions that align with the organizations overall IT strategy and goals. - Configuring and troubleshooting network devices, such as routers and firewalls, to ensure proper operation of the SASE solution. - Monitoring the performance of the SASE solution to identify and resolve any issues and making adjustments as needed to improve performance. - Documenting the SASE solution and providing training to other IT staff as needed. - Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation of the SASE solutions and architectures - Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure that the SASE solution integrates with existing systems, such as identity management, cloud security, and data center security Skills Required: - 14+ years of experience in network & Security architecture, design, and implementation. - Advanced knowledge of Palo Alto high availability design and functionality - Advanced knowledge of Palo Alto security architecture and capabilities - Experience of deploying and managing Prisma Access with Panorama - Experience integrating SAML and Prisma/Palo Alto Firewalls. administrating firewalls policies, PAN-OS, analyzing firewall security & traffic logs - Experience working with Active Directory Services including ADFS and SAML/SSO integration with Next Generation Firewalls - Hands-on experience with security solutions such as Next Generation Firewalls (Fortinet, Check Point, Palo Alto, or Juniper SRX) - SDWAN remote office implementation experience - Desired Expertise but not limited to the areas of stateful packet inspection, address translation, denial of service, URL filtering, content inspection, content reporting, configuration, and change management - Understanding of AWS/Azure/GCP architectural principles and key networking services such as AWS (Global Infra, VPC, Route53, Transit GW, Direct Connect * Cloud WAN), Azure (Vnet, Vnet-Peering, vWAN, Express Route, Firewall/Load Balancer) and etc - Experience with Linux, automation scripting with Python and GitLab / ansible Tower Support - Proven experience of LAN/WAN/Security design & implementation experience; completing projects wing2wing from planning>design>implementation. - Demonstrated excellence in communications, documentation, presentation and customer focus skills. - Recognized industry Certifications: Required Palo Alto PCNSE, PCCSE Apply now - Interview taking place immediately
