Year 4 TAChelmsley Wood.Reed Education are working with a school in Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in year 4, to begin in September 22 up until Christmas. Initially the role will be for the autumn term however, for the right candidatethe role could lead to a permanent contract.The school, a busy but friendly school sits at the heart of the community where both students and parents are all one big family. With accessible links to both Birmingham and Solihull, the successful candidate will not only be on a journey of personal growthbut will join a team who will welcome you with open hands. This will be a life changing role for the successful candidate.The successful candidate will be an integral part of the year 2 team and will work alongside all year group teachers. You will be expected to have a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum, and be able to lead on group interventions. Lessons will be fun andengaging for young inquisitive minds. You will also be required to provide general classroom support and assist the class teacher with dismissal at the end of the day and form positive relationships with parents but also other members of the community.The ideal candidate will, hold a level 3 qualification have a clear understanding of the Key stage 2 curriculum and have some knowledge of year SATs. have experience of supporting children with special educational needs seek to make learning enjoyable for keen, inquisitive minds be able to make a positive impact in and around the school setting having a paediatric first aid qualification is advantageous have a DBS on the update systemThe role will be Mon-Fri, 08.3016.00 with a half an hour lunch break.If you are looking for a new challenge and feel this is the role for you then please send your updated CV to Chris Ward.
