Job Description

My client is recruiting for an Interim System Project Accountant based in Birmingham for a 6 month contract to assist with an implementation of D365 F&O. You will be responsible for the ERP following go-live. The successful applicant will work alongside the Finance and IT team to deliver implementation across multiple sites, gathering requirements from the user community to ensure an effective implementation. Once live, the System Project Accountant will oversee the development and maintenance of the new system, as well as being responsible for ongoing system improvements and supportApplicants must have:

  • Experience of implementing Microsoft Dynamics, specifically D365
  • Possess good previous experience of supporting the finance area of a business from a systems perspective, working to improve reports as to meet the needs of the business
  • Be used to dealing with very large volumes raw financial data, with an excellent understanding of Excel and systems (macros, pivots, Power BI, SQL and Aderant) to help you manipulate this data efficiently using their new system Navision * Be a natural communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable with dealing with finance & non-finance people at senior levels (with particular experience of working as link between finance and IT)
  • Strong finance background, ideally a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or relevant experience
  • Project experience, with business analysis skills
  • Good communicator
