Job Description

Your new roleThe System Admin Team provides the system administrative function for National Highways Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM Cloud, and associated systems.The team manage access to all employees in the company across the Fusion modules, whilst maintaining system security.The role acts as first line of support for user issues and queries from the business, as well as contributing to a wide range of activities to both maintain and improve service operation.As part of the team, you will work closely with Subject Matter Experts supporting the Fusion applications, and process changes into production. Some knowledge of the Fusion system will be an advantage but training will be provided.This role will be based at our office at The Cube, Birmingham.What youll be leading on

  • Grant and manage system access to company employees in accordance with policy; thus enabling users to perform the functions relating to their role whilst maintaining system security.
  • Shared responsibility to answering a wide range of user queries and requests, offering efficient help to customers.
  • Maintain effective working relationship with Fusion Subject Matter Experts and key business teams.
  • Take responsibility for specific functions within the team and be seen as the lead in that area(s) of work.
  • Perform a variety of housekeeping and ad-hoc tasks, contributing to team processes and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure accurate application of configuration improvements/enhancements through test environments and into production. To be applied in accordance with the change management process, questioning the quality/purpose of the change where necessary.
  • Shared responsibility for maintaining non-production environments; facilitating for development, testing and training.
  • Assist with management of Oracle quarterly system updates, minimising disruption and issues to users.

  • You will be able to display system proficiency to support Oracle Fusion.
  • You will have experience of working as part of a team sharing knowledge and workload.
  • You will be user focussed and be able to offer a good level of customer service to queries and problems.
  • You will have experience of applying policy and be able to develop procedures and improvements.
  • You will be keen to learn and develop your knowledge and areas of responsibility.
