We have an outstanding opportunity for a Supply Chain Operations Manager with a well-known multi-channel retailer. The company are an established heritage brand, and this will be a key appointment in their quest to grow market-share as they embark on an exciting period of diversification.About the roleYou will be managing a team responsible for the movement of inventory through the supply chain from suppliers to stores, with primary accountability for the efficiency of the supply chain management process. With outstanding people skills, the team you lead will ensure stores receive their orders accurately and on time. You will manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring contractual standards are adhered to. You will also see the bigpicture’ and project manage the implementation of new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and enhance customer service.About the personTo be considered for this role you will need to have significant experience in a Retail or Consumer Durables Supply Chain environment where you will have a proven track record of success in managing a customer-centric fulfilment operation. You will have exposure to supplier contract management as well as inventory management and fulfilment.
