Job Description

Major Recruitment Oldbury are recruiting for a professional organisation on the outskirts of Halesowen who are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Co-Ordinator, to work with their Supply Manager, to order and maintain the supply of stock from their UKand European suppliers.Salary £28,000 - £32,000 per annumHours of work: 8am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday. 8am to 2.30pm Friday.Key Responsibilities include:

  • Forecasting and calculating stock requirements to maintain continuous supply of all items sourced in the UK & Europe, in line with current requirements and trends, anticipated demand, priority and lead time.
  • Raising purchase orders via our computer system, processing with the suppliers and progressing through to receipt of goods
  • Checking order acknowledgements, notifying, and resolving pricing and delivery date discrepancies with suppliers.
  • Arranging & coordinating all European supplier deliveries and collections ensuring cost effectiveness and timely arrival.
  • Liaising with forwarding agents, processing import documentation in line with specified trading terms to ensure accuracy and smooth delivery.
  • Maintaining stock arrival due dates on the system, to give visibility of up-to-date status information to internal stakeholders
  • Resolving delivery, price, and quality issues with UK & European suppliers
  • Working with the Goods In department to ensure all deliveries are received and processed accurately.
  • Updating and maintaining key data as necessary
  • Aiding with the Supply Manager as required
Candidate Specification:
  • Administration experience is essential for this role.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High level of numeracy with the ability to interpret data and trends.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have 2 years minimum supply chain experience.
  • Experience of working with ERP systems in desirable
