Stores OperativeTemp to PermNorth BirminghamWe are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual with proven experience as a multiskilled operator to join our team as a Stores Operative on a PM shift. As a Stores Operative you will be an integral part of our clients operation, responsible for a rangeof duties to ensure the efficient functioning of their warehouse.Our client supply into a range of industry sectors including automotive components; due to the wide range of their product line, it is vital that all applicants have a good level of English and Maths, to cross-reference batch numbers against despatch paperwork.Job Requirements:- Locating and retrieving stock from heights using the High-Level Order Picker (HLOP)- Stock replenishment- Sortation and general housekeeping- General warehouse house keeping to a high standard- Work collaboratively within a team- Decentring items into the correct placesTo apply for the Stores Operative role, you must have the following key attributes:- Previous warehouse experience including manual handling equipment- Ability and confidence to work at heights- Low level order picker (LLOP) or High-level order picker (HLOP) experience preferable- Keen eye for detail- Physical ability to assist with manually loading and unloading items- Eagerness to learn new skills- Reliability and strong work ethicBenefits:- Free on-site parking- Friendly working environment- Enrolment in company pension scheme- 30 days holiday a year (Including bank holidays)- Opportunity to join a growing company- Professional training and developmentWorking hours are Monday to Thursday 13:30 - 22:30 Friday 11:30 - 18:00pm (40 hours a week with a 30 minuet unpaid break)Rate of Pay £10.92 per hour + a 10% shift allowance = £12.01 per hourIf you are ready to take on a rewarding role in a dynamic and growing company, please submit your CV.
