Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Store Manager to join a highly respected and renowned FMCG giant. As a store manager, you will be responsible for making sure that the customers have the best experience whilst in store. By going above and beyond what customers expect from a shopping experience, your aim is to retain and grow the stores customer base. Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining high store standards
  • Making sure the store is performing at optimal efficiency
  • Keeping a tight control on stock inventory and prices
  • Updating the accounts so they are always accurate
  • Maintaining an efficient and engaged workforce and authorise duties to your staff
  • Managing rotas for the staff and making sure they have the correct breaks and time off as well as authorising overtime when required
  • Monitor and handle complaints
  • Determine the reduction prices on certain items
  • Report into your area manager regularly and communicate clearly an accurate picture of the store
  • Leading by example, always providing customers with the best service
  • Spot check products to ensure quality control throughout your store
  • Cashing up of the tills, managing the deposits and monies throughout the store
Experience needed:
  • Ideally you will have previous experience as a store manager
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment at management level
  • Previously managed a large workforce
