Are you an enthusiastic, organised individual with attention to detail that would like to get into FMCGJob DescriptionThe Stock Manager is responsible for all stock, and every location in the warehouse, but is completely detached from orders, picking and packing.He/she understands every aspect of the stock system and decides which locations should be used for each SKU.The Stock Manager has a dedicated team of Stock Controllers that monitor the warehouse to ensure that all stock is where it is meant to be, and locations are working efficiently.SM will need to work closely with the purchasing team. New SKU’s coming into the warehouse need to be briefed to the Stock team, so that they can arrange in advance the locations required. The SM and SCs are also in charge of ensuring that stock counts are continuous, and that any large discrepancies are reported to head office. Each month they must ensure that all SKU’s are counted and amended in the system.SM and team will move locations as they see fit to account for demand changes in SKU’s.SM will ensure that oldest stock is sold first and monitor stock that has close expiry dates.SM will also control overflow pallet locations and ensure that stock is stored in an acceptable way, labelled, and wrapped.
