About the facility: The Harborne Hospital - part of HCA Healthcare UK is a brand new £100million, purpose built 50 bed, multi-speciality private hospital opening in Birmingham in January 2024. Located on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham campus, the hospital will havethe deep clinical infrastructure, equipment and facilities and expert, experienced teams to deliver full clinical pathways across a mix of specialties and sub-specialties at all levels of complexity including Cardiology, Cancer and Complex Surgery. The HarborneHospital is the 4th NHS partnership within this network, partnering with University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust.Role overview:As a Staff Nurse working on the haematology inpatient unit, you will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care to ensure that our patients are cared for in a safe, compassionate and comfortable environment. This will include meetingphysical, psychological and spiritual needs by effectively communicating with the patient, their families and your colleagues.You will work in a manner that puts the patient at the centre of all you do and strive to deliver exceptional standards, consistently. The role will work across a full rotating shift pattern, and provide an opportunity to care for patients who have undergonesurgery across multiple specialties.What you’ll bring: · Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin· Post registration experience within haematology or oncology setting or equivalent· Intravenous chemotherapy administration experience· Motivated and forward-thinking individual with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills· Ability to prioritise and manage own workloadOur friendly team work closely together to adopt a supportive culture.
