Job Description

Concept Resourcing are delighted to be working with a leading provider of services to the public and private sectors who require a sourcing specialist to join the team overseeing the professional services category.The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Negotiating national agreements
  • Full management of contract terms and conditions
  • End to end procurements
  • Working to provide breakdown, analysis and report on trends, risks and complexity
  • Working collaboratively with suppliers to build and manage relationships to attain best negotiations and strong partnerships
  • Involvement in ongoing projects across the business with a focus on delivery and results
  • Executing strategies from senior colleagues whilst helping to also develop best practices
  • Taking lead on sourcing of new suppliers
  • Supplier reviews and auditing against SLAs
The ideal candidate will attain the following skills:
  • Excellent communicator - both verbal and written
  • Contract management and sourcing experience
  • Experience of working within a procurement team and negotiating commercials
  • Team player - able to collaborate across the business and liaise with high level stakeholders confidently
  • Experience of PCR 2015/OJEU would be advantageous but not essential
  • Highly organised
  • Decision maker in time pressured situations
  • Able to identify business improvements/risks and implement new ideas
This role is hybrid based with 3 days a week expected in the offices in Birmingham.Salary £32,500 - £40,000 dependant on experience + benefits package.Shortlisting will begin for this role as soon as possible so please apply today if this sounds like you.
