They have an impressive and continually growing pipeline of projects, and as a result they now wish to expand their passionate team of developers tofacilitate future growth and success.In this role, the Solar Project Developer will be responsible for managing utility scale solar projects from inception to construction ready. Responsibilities will include managing the planning application process, identifying new site opportunities, buildingrelationships with landowners and stakeholders and engaging with local planning authorities.The ideal candidate will have proven experience of developing large-scale projects from greenfield to shovel ready. Experience within the solar or renewable sector is highly advantageous but candidates from other industries (i.e. housing developments) willbe considered and are encouraged to apply.This is an excellent opportunity to build long term career within a dynamic and well-established renewable energy company in an autonomous role where you will play a key part in the success of the business.The Role:*Ownership of the pre-construction phase of large scale renewable energy projects - greenfield to shovel ready*Manage planning application process*Build and manage relationships with landowners and stakeholders*Consult with local planning authority and community*Work alongside grid team to secure grid connections *Remote and office based working, time in the office dependent on candidate locationThe Person:*Degree qualified in relatable discipline i.e. engineering, geography etc*Experience of managing the planning application process of large scale projects i.e. renewable, housing projects etc*Experience of stakeholder management and negotiating with land owners*Motivated and ambitious individual that will embrace challenges*Full UK Driving LicenseThe services of Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd are that of an Employment Agency.
