Job Description

Software Developer in Test - Birmingham - £50,000Are you a dedicated and talented Software Development Engineer in Test looking for a new opportunity to work with the latest cutting-edge technologyWork for the company creating a FinTech engine used by the UKs leading financial services.This is the role for you if you are a confident tester with proven automation skills who strives to deliver quality testing. You will be able to communicate, collaborate and challenge their peers to ensure success each sprint and to contribute to continuousimprovement.Responsibilities include:

  • Test changes in a diligent and methodical manner
  • Operates to high personal standards
  • Develop appropriate automated regression tests
  • Maintain and enhance test frameworks
Requirements:
  • Over 5 years testing experience
  • Agile
  • Good analytical skills to evaluate requirements
  • Excellent exploratory testing skills
  • Proven background in test automation at the UI and API levels
  • Significant experience using Selenium WebDriver
  • Experience using current versions of C# and .Net
  • Good working knowledge of Visual Studio
Desirable skills:
  • Financial Services experience
  • Familiarity with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools
  • BDD - Behaviour Driven Design experience using Specflow or similar
