Job Description

Marks Sattin are working in partnership with a prestigious global leading organisation to recruit an experienced Software Developer on a full-time, permanent basis. The position is a brand new role following the organisations continued growth and furtherinvestment.This role would really suit somebody with a passion for development, process improvement and getting involved in projects that impact the wider business on a day to day basis.Responsibilities of the Software Developer include:

  • Being the right hand person to the Head of Development to agree and deliver software projects
  • Supporting back-end and front-end development, so some understanding of UX would be desirable
  • Using DevOps methodologies to increase efficiency
  • Liaise with external vendor partners as the technical point of contact to leverage development capabilities
  • Provide assistance to the wider team to resolve technical issues
  • Communicating information to stakeholders in non-technical language
To be considered you must:
  • Have experience in a similar role, with a track record of delivering web and mobile applications
  • Have development skillsets in all or most of the following: PHP; MySQL; JavaScript; HTML/CSS; Zend Framework
  • Have experience working in a large and corporate organisation
  • Be able to demonstrate a good understand of UX methodology
  • Have a Computer Science accreditation (BSc/MSc)
