Job Description

Site Technician/ Contract Manager - Roofing and WaterproofingJob Title: Site Technician/ Contract Manager - Roofing and WaterproofingIndustry Sector: Built-up bituminous roofing systems, waterproofing, flat roof construction and approved roofing contractorsArea to be covered: West Midlands (Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire)Remuneration: DOEBased: West MidlandsBenefits: Car and full benefits packageThe role of the Site Technician/ Contract Manager - Roofing and Waterproofing will involve:

  • Building and fostering relationships within our clients’ approved roofing contractor network
  • Working closely with the regional sales team
  • Oversee site installation monitoring, across all flat roofing and waterproofing systems
  • Ensure highest levels of workmanship are upheld
  • Delivering hands on training for approved contractor operatives
  • Product demonstrations and toolbox talks to encourage good practice
  • Carrying out site inspections for multiple ongoing projects
  • Complete and distribute inspection reports following site inspections and quickly communicating any issues that require immediate attention
  • Acting as an intermediary to assist the project team and contractors in resolving issues
    • The ideal applicant will be a Site Technician/ Contract Manager - Roofing and Waterproofing with:
  • Site Technician/ Contract Manager experience within the roofing & waterproofing market
  • Knowledge and practical hands on experience in the installation of built-up bituminous systems
  • Technically credible
  • Ideally some understand of torch-on, self-adhesive and hot air applications
  • Other waterproofing technologies advantageous
  • Good understanding of flat roofing construction, both technical and commercial aspects
  • Health and safety awareness and relevant certifications
  • IT literate
  • Sound organisational and administrative skills
